HEALTH CRISIS
Covid-19 Health Crisis
We live in a changed world due to the crisis of COVID-19. A crisis is defined as a difficult or dangerous time in which a solution is quickly needed. Interestingly, the word crisis in simplified chinese is 危机(Wéijīin) is often translated to meaning both danger and opportunity. The noun crisis comes from the Latinized form of the Greek word krisis, meaning "turning point in a disease". At such a moment, the person, the family, the community, the country and the world with the disease could get better or worse: it's a critical moment.
We live in a time of dis-connection. We are of the earth but often find ourselves disconnected because of where we live or work, and even how we think and feel, how we perceive ourselves, either isolated or united, in the complex systems of the modern world.
